Billing (480) 339-4825
Your everyday doctor's office — annual physicals, chronic-condition care, prescription management, and same-day visits when you wake up sick. Backed by the only emergency room in Fountain Hills, in the same building.
Having a medical emergency right now?
Do not book an appointment — go to our Emergency Room, open 24/7, or call 911. Chest pain, stroke symptoms, trouble breathing, and serious injuries are emergencies.
What we care for
One provider who knows your history, your medications, and your goals — for the routine visits and the unexpected ones.
Annual physicals, wellness visits, Medicare annual wellness exams, cancer screenings, and vaccinations.
High blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, thyroid, asthma, and arthritis — monitored and managed over time.
Colds, flu, COVID, sore throats, sinus and ear infections, urinary infections, rashes, and minor injuries.
Blood work drawn and run in this building — most results back the same day, not next week.
Adults, seniors, and children — including school and sports physicals, and care for visiting family and winter residents.
Seen in our emergency room? Your follow-up happens here, with a team that already has your records.
Why it matters
Most doctor's offices close at five and send you elsewhere when something turns serious. Ours does not.
Nothing gets handed off to strangers — If a clinic visit reveals something urgent, the emergency room is down the hall — same team, same records, same day.
Diagnostics without a second trip — Lab work and imaging happen in this building instead of another appointment across the Valley.
The visits that prevent emergencies — Managed blood pressure, controlled diabetes, and caught-early problems are how people stay out of emergency rooms entirely.
Office-visit pricing — Clinic appointments bill at standard office rates — like any primary care practice, and well below emergency care.
Getting seen
No. They are two separate services in one building. The Medical Clinic is primary care — appointments, check-ups, ongoing conditions, and same-day sick visits, billed at standard office rates. The Emergency Room is a fully equipped, 24/7 emergency department for serious and life-threatening problems, billed at emergency rates. Choosing the right one saves you both time and money.
No. FHMC is a primary care clinic paired with a freestanding emergency room. The Clinic offers same-day appointments for everyday illness, which covers most of what people bring to an urgent care — with the advantage of a provider who follows your care over time.
Usually, yes. We hold same-day slots for patients who wake up unwell. Call the clinic and our staff will find you the earliest time available, or send a request through the patient portal.
Yes. We welcome new patients of all ages, including seasonal residents who need care while in Arizona.
Absolutely — that is the point of the Clinic. We provide continuous primary care, manage your medications and chronic conditions, coordinate specialist referrals, and keep one consistent record of your health.
Yes. Request refills through the patient portal or by calling the clinic. Some medications require a periodic visit before we can refill them safely.
Photo ID, your insurance card, a list of current medications (a phone photo of the bottles is fine), and any records or test results from a previous provider. Arriving a few minutes early gives us time for new-patient paperwork.
Most major plans and Medicare. Call the clinic with your plan details before your visit and we will confirm your coverage and expected cost.
Same-day visits for the unexpected, and a provider who stays with you for everything else.
About your bill, before you worry about it
If something arrives from your insurance company after your visit, it is almost certainly not a bill. It is an Explanation of Benefits — a statement of what they paid. The large number on it is not what you owe.
For emergency care, federal law limits your share to the ordinary in-network copay, coinsurance and deductible your plan already sets. We do not bill you for the difference, and we never will.
If anything you receive is unclear, call us before you pay it. Our billing team would rather explain a statement than have you pay something you do not owe.
